About Dailica

Dailica is a Pakistani digital publication for readers who want two things in one place: the day's news, and the everyday numbers and reference material they actually look things up for — phone prices, car prices, gold and currency rates, prayer times, Islamic names, recipes and free online tools.

How we work

Reference material is only worth publishing if you can trust where it came from. So:

Rates, prices and specifications are compiled from published market and manufacturer sources, and the page tells you when they were last updated.
Where a story concerns an official scheme, notification or announcement, we link the official website so you can read the original rather than take our word for it.
Where we build on openly licensed reference material — Wikipedia, for example — the article says so and links back to the source under its licence.
Religious content is reproduced with its source named. We report rulings and duain; we do not issue them.

Corrections

We would rather fix a mistake than defend one. If something on this site is wrong, out of date, or misattributed, tell us and we will correct it and say so on the page. Include the link and, if you can, the correct figure and where it comes from.
